“ As an Italian-American from NY, I do get asked often what my favorite, authentic "NY Style" pizzeria is here in Orlando. My go-to now for pizza that reminds me of "back home" is definitely Dough Boyz Pizza in Oviedo. They've been here a year and have a huge following now, for good reason. For one, the atmosphere they strived for was a chill, NY vibe and they achieved it. The specialty pizzas are just outstanding. One fave is the Grandma-style Sicilian called "The Brooklyn". Its crust is nice and crunchy on the outside, yet the inside is light and airy and the sauce is so fresh and tasty. The others I order often is the Grandma Margherita (has a drizzle of pesto), the Ala Vodka, the Eggplant Rollatini, Baked Ziti slice and others. Their Arancini (rice balls) are so delish and they come in several variations. My fave is the Sausage and Broccoli Rabe one. While it's hard to order anything but pizza when there, my Family recently tried their Linguini in White Clam Sauce and RAVED about it (unfortunately, I'm allergic to shellfish, so couldn't try it but they were going crazy over it.) The Owner, Mario, is incredibly welcoming and many times will come chat with you at the table, which also makes you feel like Family. He's a third generation pizzeria Owner, so really knows this business! His Dad, Mario Sr., is also normally on site and creating his magic in the kitchen and is super cool to chat with as well. If you haven't visited yet, seriously go! It's such a gem!! ”
“ As a former New Yorker had to give this place a try while in the area... The pizza was truly just like a New York slice. The owner was very nice, wanted to make sure everyone was taken care of . He sat and chatted with us for a few mins. If your in the area give this place a try, it does not disappoint! ”
“ First time here. Authentic NY style pizza, thin crust, and with all the usual toppings available. Ordered a side of meatballs which, I must say, are the best that I've had in Central Florida. They were large and well seasoned, very "fluffy" , not dense and chewy like others I have tried. Smothered in a perfect tomato sauce and topped with mozzarella and ricotta cheeses. Highly recommend! ”
“ Honestly the best pizza place in Orlando hands down. I’m from up North myself and constantly looking for legit good pizza. Found the perfect spot. They not only make good pizza all of them are so welcoming. Makes me feel like I’m back home. Love it here! ”
“ This place was slammed on Saturday evening. So much they had trouble keeping track of orders so put your full name on the order if you call or place it online, too many people with the same name and at least know what you ordered! Staff is friendly and tries to take care of everyone. A lot of people waiting for pickups makes the front a bit crowded. NYC style pizza is the closest I had here in Orlando. The cheese and sauce are just like pieces in NY. Pretty pricey though for a small pie for 21. Better off with a large. Will be going back to try some more items. ”
“ I really liked this place and I would drive over here again for it. I live near Universal Studios if that tells you how far. I loved the Meatballs. Big, moist, flavorful. This is such an easy thing to mess up, but they didn't. The sauce didn't give me heartburn like most sauces do. I got the Florida Hog, which is their meat lovers. I did order light sauce on the pizza. I really enjoyed it and saved slices for later too. I am a fat woman who's had gastric sleeve surgery. So I try to look for quality over quantity. This is 100% better than frozen or big chain pizza place. ”
“ The best pizza in the oviedo area, the crust wasn’t doughy at all and it was really flavorful, we also had the chicken parm stuffed garlic know and it was super good(it could definitely be a meal on its own). I loved the chill vibe with the freestyle music. ”

As soon as I walked in the door it was great. ordered two slices from the window sat down and enjoyed. I will say its 100% pizza no hype Pizza was warmed up just right. Didn't look like or had that "slice been seating there allday" taste. I'll definitely be back. ”
